The Studio@620 welcomes Pinellas Diaspora Arts Project (PDAP) and Tampa Bay Afrofuturism Festival (TBAFF) in presenting BRIDGES: FUTURE/PRESENT, FUTURE/PAST, a curated group art exhibit featuring the work of artists of the diaspora whose lives and experiences have crossed “time bridges”. Images and inspiration span the generations from the Civil Rights / Black Power Movements, United Farm Works, La Raza Unida, and the Chicano Liberation Movements of the past, into the volatile, chaotic energy of today, while conjuring powerful visions of tomorrow.
